Home Style Solutions is a full service home staging company, staging houses in Victoria, Duncan and the Cowichan Valley since 2007. We prove time and again that staged homes sell faster and for more money than competing properties. Our home stagers possess a keen eye for design, an interest in the regional Real Estate market and a thorough knowledge of how the two influence one another. We are platinum members of The HOUSSE Staging Resource Center, graduates of the PRES Client Colour Consultation Course, and affiliates of the Design District Access Inc.

With a large and ever-changing inventory, we choose decor to suit the style of the home, the demographic of the buyer, and the budget of the homeowner.

Melanie Henson Owner/Stylist

Melanie’s warm and engaging personality will put any home owner, Realtor or developer at ease while she uses her refreshing approach to home staging and re-design. Her mission as a home stylist is to help clients “re-invent” their lifestyle through the creation of effortless and welcoming spaces. As a former Starbuck’s manager and mother to twin boys, Melanie uses her finely tuned organization skills, her love of glamour and her flare for accessorizing to design classic and elegant spaces. She joined Home Style Solutions as a partner in 2010.

Josée Lalonde is a professional home stager and interior designer who collaborates with Melanie. Under the Home Style Solutions brand, Melanie and Josée bring properties to life. Together they create a sense of flow and purpose to homes, showcase each property’s best features, and add vibrant colour and style to appeal to buyers. Under Josée’s interior design firm, Josée Lalonde Design, the duo known as Mojo inject their clients’ homes with personality and panache.
